Victoria's Monument in Victoria Square, Birmingham, England

Good morning folks! Let's go travel in Europe again! I am finally back here to share some updates. How would like seeing the monument of Queen Victoria in Victoria Square, Birmingham, England? I got here a picture showing the monument of Queen Victoria. The monument was originally built by Thomas Brock in 1901 and was made of marble. In 1951, William Bloye recasted it to bronze. You can also see the City Hall of Birmingham in the background of the photo.

I took this picture personally during my trip to England last 2008.

Victoria Square is a pedestrianised public square in Birmingham, England. It is home to both the Town Hall and the Council House, and directly adjacent to Chamberlain Square.

The square is often considered to be the centre of Birmingham, and is the point from where local road sign distances are measured. It is a short walk from St. Philip's Cathedral on Colmore Row and is on the main pedestrian route between the Bull Ring and Brindleyplace areas. Three major roads, Colmore Row, New Street and Paradise Street meet there. wikipedia
