Oktoberfest in Munich Is Almost Here

Good morning everyone! I was thinking of what to share here today. I decided to post about the famous and biggest festival in the world, The Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. I would like to give you basic information about it. This year's festival will start on September 19, 2009 and will run until October 4, 2009. It is a 16-day festival which will give guests and visitors from all over the world enough time to celebrate. For sure you can experience here the German culture especially the Bavarian Culture with its so-called Trachten and Lederhose which are the national costumes of Germany. German delicacies are of course included. Don't forget to mention beer which is always the highlight in the beer tents.

If you plan to travel to Munich be sure to start looking for your accommodation now. I know that most hotel near the festival are already fully booked based on the report I have seen in German television. You can be very lucky if you find one. If you plan to travel with an infant, don't forget to buy a light weight and comfortable infant travel bed for your babies. Of course you can bring them to the festival for sightseeing but be very careful because there are a lot of people out there.
