Landshut Wedding Festival in Germany

I am thinking what place I will share for my Europe adventure blog tonight. I landed on the pictures I took during the sightseeing we had in Landshut, a city in Bavaria, Germany last year. The main reason why we went there is to witness the so-called Landshuter Hochzeit or Landshut Wedding festival which is only held every four years in this city. What a grand celebration was that! Special mention for tonight is about e cigarette. I still did not have any idea on this but I saw a lot of people smoking during our visit to Landshut last time. These are only some of images I took from that festival. I have to slowly sign-off now. Feel free to visit my Explore Germany site for more photos from this event.

Wow! And it looks like a historical wedding festival too! It must have been a wonderful experience. Love the costumes and the beautiful old gateway!

Is this anywhere near Oberamegau (spelling?), which also has a festival every 4 years? Very interesting.
