Arch of Triumph from Champs-Elysees

I love Paris! I was finally there last month and finally saw the Arch of Triumph. I was greatly fascinated by the different sightseeing, interesting monuments, architecture and historical buildings in Paris! Of all the cities I have been to Europe, I can only say for now, Paris is the most beautiful one. I hope to visit next time Rome to make a comparison between Rome and Paris or maybe Berlin. I took this photo while we were inside the bus driving around the different landmarks in Paris. Paris is truly awesome! I am still planning to be backed there next time.

The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris, France that stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, also known as the Place de l'Étoile. It is at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. The triumphal arch honors those who fought for France, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars. On the inside and the top of the arc there are all of the names of generals and wars fought. Underneath is the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War I.
