It Was Cloudy in London, UK

What do you expect when you visit during Autumn or Fall season? Be prepared with visiting London during this time. For sure, it will be a cold rainy weather.  I first visited  this city last autumn  2008. It is almost four years  now and I hope to visit it again in the future.  I have seen some of  its sights  but not really explored everything. London, the capital city of both England and United Kingdom is a huge city. There are a lot of  sights to see and to experience  and a day or two is not enough to explore everything.

I might have the chance to visit it again because I auditioned as a Samsung Global Blogger. One of London's famous landmark, the London Eye. You can also see the Westminster Palace or the Parliament Building.  I miss cruising Thames River.. What can do you when you only visit it for two days.

London is a must-to-see when visiting Europe. I  was happy to be  there and hope to go back again in the future...maybe soon!

Shopping in London, England

Let's go travel and go shopping again! This time I will share some pictures taking at London in England. I am trying to remember this famous shopping store in London where the two memorials for Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed are also found. I googled it and found its name. These pictures were taken in Harrods. Don't you know that Harrods is the worlds most famous luxury department Store, owned by Egyptian Billionaire, Al Fayed Mohamed? Yes, it is! We only went here for window shopping. I am trying to remember what did I bought here because I can't remember it right now. I am also trying to find my shopping receipts but also can't find one from this shop. I am not sure now if I found a receipt printer on sale at Harrods. I also want one of those Teddy bears at Harrods but I forgot to buy it because I am excited to see the two memorials of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed. I will try to search more images in my picture files especially the two memorials of Princess Diana and Dodi. Have fun watching the pictures here.

Ripley's Believe it Or Not Museum in London, England

Anyone visiting London? N ever miss to visit Ripley's Believe it or Not! Here is a great place to see unusual and strange collections such as photographs, artifacts, cartoon panels and other things. It is franchise founded by Robert LeRoy Ripley. This museum can be found in some parts of the world like Ontario in Canada, Bangalore in India, San Antonio in Texas, Orlando in Florida and other cities around the world. London is considered to be the world's largest Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum. It was opened on August 20, 2008 at the London Pavilion, 1 Piccadilly Circus. In October 29, 2008, I was there!

My Euro Travel To The Tower of London in London, England

This post should be written some hours ago but there was an interesting program in the television that hinders me from writing it. Below is a part of the Tower of London which is also called Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress. This is one of the pictures I took during my vacation last November 2008. This palace is located along the River of Thames and was built in the Middle Ages. It's primary function before was a fortress, royal palace and also as a prison. This was where the royal class and the high status people were imprisoned.

I wish to visit this palace again because during our visit last time, we don't have the chance to go inside it.It has also served as a place of execution and torture, an armoury, a treasury, a zoo, the Royal Mint, a public records office, an observatory, and since 1303, the home of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom.

Today the Tower of London is cared for by an independent charity, Historic Royal Palaces, which receives no funding from the Government or the Crown. wikipedia

The Historical Red Phone Booths in London, England

I really don't know a lot about these historical red phone booths in London but I guess I know its importance. I also heard that the old Telecom red phone booths are considered to be an icon for London. Even though we own a cellphone but time comes when the battery is empty or maybe it was dropped accidentally and you need to call somebody due to emergency. What you see in London streets are red phone booths. In fact I noticed that these booths are available in every corner in London. Better to always have coins with you to use for calling. It is also said that the newest version of these red phone booths already accepts credit cards and prepaid cards. This is just for your information. Aside from its historical value, it is also very important for its practical use during emergency.

Visiting my Friends in Madame Tussauds in London, England

I had the chance to visit my friends in Madame Tussauds in London, England...wink! The exact date was last November 8, 2008. I know exactly because the date is embedded in my photo here..hehehe! I was thinking not to go inside this wax figure museum because it was quite expensive. but I was thinking I am already there..why not spend some pounds to see it for the first time! I was amazed that time because the line to buy the ticket was very long. After we bought the tickets, I thought it only take some minutes to go inside the museum...but you know how many minutes we lined-up? It was more than one hour..If you are planning to visit Madame Tussauds in London, you better go their earlier..you don't know what's going to happened. That's only my simple tip for you. One last thing, never miss this London's greatest attraction if you happen to visit there one day!
