Let's Visit Oktoberfest and have Fun
I believed most of the reasons why so many people are going there is to experience the fun and entertainment during the duration of the celebration. More that, since it is a beer festival, tasting and drinking beers that are only brewed by the best breweries in Munich is also one of the reasons why many guests and tourists are flocking this event every year.
Of course, you must not miss the live bands in every beer tent. There are live musicians playing great musical instruments. If you understand what is bit depth, I know you will have fun listening to the live bands there. This is one thing I love everytime I visit a German festival.
If you are in Bavaria especially in Munich area, never miss the fun visiting the world's largest festival. I guess, I am a lucky traveler visiting Oktoberfest many times. Cheers and be safe!

Oktoberfest in Munich, Bavaria
I guess I am lucky to witness this festival three times in my life. You can witness and experience a lot in this festival especially the Bavarian culture. You can hear different music from the different live bands inside the beer tents. Bavarian and German musics and songs are frequently played. I am admire the high-tech music instruments and equipments they are using there. I guess Zildjian Drums are also use by the different bands. Sitting alone inside the beer tents and listening to the live bands while drinking beer and eating German delicacies will surely be a fantastic experience for you.
There are also a lot of carnival rides to try and experience during the Oktoberfest. If you have the chance, don't miss to visit this festival once in your life. For sure, you will have a lot of fun there.
This year's festival will take place from September 22 to October 7, 2012.

Remembering Oktoberfest in Munich
There are some changes going on every year. This year, when the No-smoking law was implemented in the state of Bavaria, it is no longer allowed to smoke inside the beer tents. If I am not mistaken, you can find cigarettes and cigar deals in some kiosks in the festival but sad to say, you can't anymore smoke inside the beer tents. Some guests and visitors were not happy about it but law is law and we cannot just ignore it.
Here are some images I took during my visits to this amazing festival.

Oktoberfest 2010 is Coming Soon in Munich, Bavaria, Germany
Here are some of the snapshots I took during our visit last September 2009.
The original "Oktoberfest" occurred in Munich, on October 18, 1810: For the commemoration of their marriage, Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I) and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen (namesake of the Theresienwiese festival grounds) organized a great horse race (the marriage took place on October 12; the horse race on October 17—therefore, there are different dates named as being the first Oktoberfest).
MODERN FESTIVAL
Since 1950, there has been a traditional festival opening: A twelve gun salute and the tapping of the first keg of Oktoberfest beer at 12:00 by the incumbent Mayor of Munich with the cry "O'zapft is!" ("It's tapped!" in the Austro-Bavarian language) opens the Oktoberfest. The Mayor then gives the first beer to the Minister-President of the State of Bavaria. The first mayor to tap the keg was Thomas Wimmer.
By 1960, the Oktoberfest had turned into an enormous world-famous festival. After this foreigners began to picture Germans as wearing the Sennerhut, Lederhosen, and the girls in Dirndl. Horse races ended in 1960.
It is customary for people during the Oktoberfest to wear cowboy shaped hats, which contain a tuft of goat hair. In Germany, goat hair is highly valued and prized, making it one of the most expensive objects for sale. The more tufts of goat hair on your hat, the wealthier you are considered to be. But now, due to textiles and cheap imitations, this tradition has been ending because it is so easy to fake goat hair with the technology at our fingertips. more here

Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany
Oktoberfest is a two-week festival or a 16 day festival to be exact and is held every year during the last week of September until first week of October. I had been to this festival twice already. Below are some of the photographs I took last 2008. The festival is held on an area named the Theresienwiese (field, or meadow, of Therese), often called d’ Wiesn for short.
"The original "Oktoberfest" occurred in Munich, on October 18, 1810: For the commemoration of their marriage, Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I) and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen (namesake of the Theresienwiese festival grounds) organized a great horse race (the marriage took place on October 12; the horse race on October 17—therefore, there are different dates named as being the first Oktoberfest)."wikipedia

Did Shopping in Munich's Oktoberfest 2009
Don't you know that you can also go shopping in Munich's Oktoberfest? We visited this world's biggest beer festival last Saturday. We did some shopping and sightseeing there. You can go shopping for memorabilia ans souvenirs like shirts and blouses, postcards, mugs, glasses, key chains, stuff toys and a lot more. I bought some postcards and plate decors with Oktoberfest name engraved in it. There are also a lot of fast foods and kiosks that sell different kinds of German food and even delicacies from other countries. Sad to say, I cannot find Crystal Singing Bowls there. I guess I can only find it in the internet. I did find it in Silver Sky Imports.
Have you heard about Tibetian Singing Bowls? This is already my second time to search it in the net. I found it interesting because I read that it is good for relaxing and meditation. Silver Sky Imports offers handicraft products of different kinds from Tibet and Nepal. These products are usually used for meditation and relaxation and other needs. They are famous for their finest Tibetian Singing Bowls. I am happy to know that they cater customers from all over the world. Don't hesitate to visit their site if you are looking for handicrafts from Nepal and Tibet. Have a great day shopping! I'm taking a short break to slowly prepare for dinner! Enjoy watching the photos here!

Having Fun at the World's Biggest Festival, Oktoberfest in Munich, Bavaria
Another highlight for today is my surfing activity for cheap web hosting. This blog is still hosted in a free platform and it's been a long time since I planned to buy a domain for this. I am specifically looking for the top 10 web hosting sites and I finally saw a site that explains every detail of it. Find My Hosting provides all the comparison of the best web hosting sites from prices to its features, email features, data center, customer support, ratings and above all its rank. This is the first site that I visited who provides all those data. I don't need to browse more because they simply have it all! This blog might have its own domain in a near future because I already know where to find one! I only need to think for a good domain name that best fit for my theme.
Lastly have fun viewing the photos here! See you in Munich, Oktoberfest!
one of the many attractions in Oktoberfest, the Irrgarten.
Oktoberfest in Munich Is Almost Here
If you plan to travel to Munich be sure to start looking for your accommodation now. I know that most hotel near the festival are already fully booked based on the report I have seen in German television. You can be very lucky if you find one. If you plan to travel with an infant, don't forget to buy a light weight and comfortable infant travel bed for your babies. Of course you can bring them to the festival for sightseeing but be very careful because there are a lot of people out there. You can find a lot of travel products for your babies at Baby Safe Travel. Their infant travel bed will bring comfort not only to you but most especially to your baby. Have a safe and sound trip!

Travelling Without Financial Stress
Hi everyone! I am back for now! It is TGIF again ! Another weekend is coming soon. Before I sign-off for tonight let me share to you a little information about financial matters. Having worked before in a financial institution for almost nine years, I believed I have some backgrounds to share to you my experiences and knowledge about money and finance. Well this is in relation about travelling too! let me start now!
Travelling without making credits or acquiring loans can be very relaxing. You don't need to worry after taking your vacation because you won't be thinking about any financial problems or how to pay back the money you borrowed after your vacation. Some people are using their credit cards too in which they also forget that in some things there should always be a limit. Having a lot of credits and loans are not really good besides that it bring stress to you. If you have a lot of credits in different financial institution, Debt Consolidation is the best solution for you. Debt Consolidation can be the perfect way to save a lot of money by paying lesser interest and easier payments. You can manage your many debts by putting them into one and I believed it will be better for you! What do you think! You can take a look at Debt Free 24 for more infos!! I wish you a debt free and more relaxing life!! Enjoy your weekend!!
P.s. This photo was taken in the Statue of Bavaria located near the Theresienwiese (where the Oktoberfest is held every year) in Munich, Germany!! It was cool and fun as we visited last time the Oktoberfest!!
