Dining and Shopping While Traveling

I believed shopping and dining always go together. Imagine yourself without eating while traveling? I can't really do that. The problem is, where to find good Restaurants to dine-out. I remember some travel experiences that me and my friend had during our Europe adventure last August 2010. We had been looking for Asian restaurants in Rome and Paris but it is very difficult to find one.

Another difficult experience we had was finding for cheap Hotels in Cologne, Germany. It was also our fault because we did not book in advance that time and we were hoping that we can find a cheap one once we are there. That time there was a celebration in Cologne called "Spiel Messe" and was taken advantage by most hotels to rise their prices.

At least, we had fun especially looking at those Coffee Shops full of visitors and tourists in the different cities we visited during our Europe tour. We also dined-out in a coffee shop and restaurant in Rome. Some good travel tips I can share with you, always book your hotel in advance to avoid stress and to save time and money. Also try to look for good restaurants nearby your hotel or around the area where you are staying. Don't also forget to shop for souvenirs or presents for your family and friends.

Travel Insurance Can Be A Lifesaver

When you're traveling to other countries, it's important to understand that many people's health plans don't travel with them. It is possible to obtain emergency funds when you are traveling to be wired into your bank account via a loan direct deposit, but why not be prepared? People in Britain may have to carry supplemental travel insurance that can pay for medical emergencies that aren't covered by their own national plans. Even Americans may have trouble receiving treatment overseas or find they get a large bill upon returning, if they suffer a medical problem while on vacation.

Medical Costs

If you have a pre-existing condition, like asthma, and don't know how you'll fare overseas and can't get coverage with a regular plan, different types of travel insurance can give you that supplemental protection, although some will deliberately exclude pre-existing conditions. So, don't forget to ask. In addition, you may be covered for a regular doctor's visit, but if you have to be evacuated by helicopter or ambulance you may end up paying the full cost of that without the right travel insurance. If you are pregnant, you can be sure you will want to look into what is covered by your regular health plan and what needs to be planned for using travel insurance.

Travel Insurance Is a Bargain

When compared to the types and risks associated with medical treatment, travel insurance is a bargain. You may never have to use it, but when you do it can really keep you solvent when you return, not to mention open your options for treatment should you need it. Travel insurance varies in cost depending on what you want to include, but it's almost never ore than 7% of the actual cost of the trip. It can give you peace of mind that wherever you go and whatever happens, you've taken care of yourself and your loved ones the best way you can.

Planning for Your Europe Travel

I was talking to a friend last weekend about traveling in Europe. She was surprised how we were able to visit a lot of cities and countries in around three weeks. She also loves to travel but now that she just gave birth to a baby boy, traveling is not her priority. Besides that traveling can be very stressful sometimes especially if you have a little baby with you. Probably with the help of
phil and teds explorer stroller, traveling can be lighter because you don't need to carry your baby or toddler all the time. I also told her that she need to plan her travel ahead. Early booking for flights and hotels can be of great advantage because you can have it cheaper most of the time. I told her that we planned our Europe trip since last March of this year. That is also the reason why we had it cheaper. Thanks to the invention of computers and internet because searching for cheap vacation online has been very easy and faster now.

Europe Adventure is Coming Soon!

Did you just read the title of this post? Yes, it is true again! Europe adventure is coming soon! A friend of mine from the United States will be coming to visit me in Europe and we will have some tours here. To be honest guys until now, we are still searching for the cheapest flights online to different cities in Europe. We are planning to visit some cities here this coming summer season. We are also trying to find a cheap flight to London. When we can find a cheap one, I might visit London again for the third time with my friend. I already made a tentative itinerary for our three weeks adventure but it is still not final.

We are also trying to find a good Paris travel guide. Thanks to Travel Grove for the very informative guide to Paris. In fact, we are still looking for a hotel in this city. I had been to Paris last year but it was a bus trip and we had a tour guide that time which made us very easy to go around for sightseeing. This time, only me and my friend will be having an adventure there. I find it quite difficult because I know how crowded Paris can be sometimes. With the help of Travel Grove's guide to Paris, I believed it is quite easy to go around Paris. I was also browsing for cheap flights from Nuremberg, Germany to Paris, France and I found cheap flights from this site compared to some other sites I visited before. I also found the site very easy to navigate. Last week, as I was browsing a German site, I got mad because the navigation of the site is very poor. In fact when you enter a certain flight inquiry, they will not redirect you for a concrete flight but you will be coming back to the same window for searching. I want to tell my friend to also take a look at Travelglobe.com site.

I am also sharing a picture of me in this post. This was taken in Arch of Triumph in Paris, France. I love Paris and can't wait to go back there again. Lastly if you are trying to find cheap flights, travel guides and anything you need to spend a great vacation, I would also recommend Travel Grove to you. Have a safe and happy trip!

Is There Really a Thing Called Travel for Free?

Is there really a thing called "travel for free"? I visited a site before wherein the author mentioned that at this time there is no such thing called travel for free. I guess I have to deviate with what the author had shared about traveling for free. There are so-called teens volunteer summer programs that are sometimes offering free travel and accommodation. I met last year a friend online who went to Germany and her plane ticket and accommodation were shouldered by her sponsor. She had to stay in this country for three months to help built a museum somewhere in Bavaria, Germany. In return for her free travel, she has to work help build that museum. She told me that during their free weekend, they visited other cities in Germany and the neighboring countries. She even visited her Aunt in Italy that time.

You can also travel for free when you probably win a promotion entitled you for a free vacation. You can also travel for free when a member of your family shoulders your travel expenses. right folks? Just last week, I also visited a site called Vision Service Adventures who provides teen summer program locations. Their site offers international summer program where you can visit other countries for adventure, sightseeing, learning languages, knowing people and their culture or simply have fun. They have interesting program locations such as Alaska, Vietnam, Dominica, Peru, Ecuador and a lot more. This site is quite interesting. I want to browse more in its site later.

If you also notice that I have been to different parts of the globe already. I would say that I sometimes travel for free or partly free. I guess I will reveal my secret soon. Watch it out in the near future! I am also sharing a picture of St. Mark's Basilica in Venice, Italy. I have been to this city twice already.

Planning a Vacation

I am here again to share some updates. I already posted some entries in my other sites. Don't hesitate to visit them and see more pictures. I would like to share t this time about budget vacation and how to plan for it. Sometimes planning a vacation can be very stressful. When you plan it ahead, I believed you will save some money from doing so. I have been to different cities and countries in the world. I can say that traveling is one of my passion and I truly love it. Since I am jobless, I need to plan ahead for any vacation that I wish to spend. This is especially true and considering about finances, I need to save money first before going for a vacation. This is one of the most important thing to consider.

Another thing we need to consider is trying to find for the possible cheapest vacation. There are some sort of wholesale travel where we can choose for any destination that we wish to visit. One of the sites, I stumbled was Sundance Vacations who offer wholesale travel and discount vacation in any destinations around the world. You will have the chance to visit places that you wish to see. It is still not too late to spend your winter vacation. Whether you want to spend it in sunny Florida or spend a ski vacation in Colorado, don't hesitate to visit Sundance Vacations. I guess I don't need to elaborate more on this because I am running out of time. Feel free to visit their site and find out more of their vacation deals.

I am also sharing a picture above which was taken in Windsor Castle in Windsor England. This was taken during my three weeks vacation in England in 2008. I am happy to be there. One more thing, don't forget to plan your vacation ahead to save time and money.
