Collecting Euro Coins and Bills

I was trying to find photos of my Euro coins and bills collection but it seems that I can't find it right now in my file. I have more than hundred thousands of photos in my 400 GB external hard drive and finding it right now seems impossible. Sorry guys. Hopefully next time. Last time, dear HB also asked me about the US old gold coins that my sister had given me during my trip in the US last year. He found out that one 5 cent gold coin already cost around 300 dollars. HB told me that I have some collections that are valuable. I also bought last time some gold plated Euro coins to add to my collection.

I just collect anything from old bills and coins to porcelain capodimonte, ceramics, crystals, porcelain dolls, tea sets and a lot more. If I have a lot of money, I might want to buy some gold bullion coins to my collection. I know that gold are investments that will never fade. In fact, it is considered to be the world's most liquid investment. That is maybe the reason why most women love to shop and collect gold jewelries and bullion. I hope you won't disagree with me about this.

Since I only found a photo of some old German bills in my files, this is the one I am sharing for now. I took this photo as we visited last time the Freiland Museum in Nabburg, Germany. It was a very interesting museum featuring the old ways on how people live including their techniques, equipments, old houses, livelihood, gadgets and a lot more.

Watching the Model Train in Nuremberg, Germany

Good evening everyone! I had a very hectic and busy day today. I am also tired but I am happy because I finally finished packing one of my Balikbayan boxes. The most tiring part was the bringing down of all those stuffs from our attic down to the living room. I am still not done. I guess I will be packing three boxes more. I hope I can finish packing this week. Our living room now looks like being hit by a tornado with all those stuffs scattering around for my balikbayan boxes.

Anyway back to my title. Have you seen the photo I got here? I guess so! This is a model train we saw in the train station in Nuremberg in Bavaria, Germany. If you put a Euro coin in the machine the train here will run. I tried to put 2.00 Euros last time and I had fun watching the train running on the rails. I also grabbed last time a magazine in an electronic company where we visited last June of this year. The magazine had a list of Model Trains which are very interesting. I also watched last time over the television of some people who have the passion of collecting model trains.

As I was browsing the net tonight, I saw a site that offers a software for modelers. It is a model train software where modelers can built and develop buildings, apartments, model trains, miniature objects or any structure of their own design, style and ideas. Have you been to Salzburg in Austria? I have been there twice. The first time was in June 2007 and the second time was last year in November. Salzburg is also an interesting. It is not only the birthplace of the famous composer and musician named Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart but it has also a lot of things to offer to its visitors. Don't forget to pass-by Salzburg if you visit Austria.
