That Happy Trip in the Beautiful Island of Boracay

Before I forget, I would like to greet everyone a Happy New Year 2015. I know this is a very late greetings but then, better late than never! I hope your 2015 is starting great. My first weeks of January is so far doing good. I am just just busy since I started working last summer 2014.

I am glad that before I entered  the job market again  last year, I was able to take a vacation in Asia and visited my home country Philippines for some weeks. So far, it was the best vacation I had last 2014. I also visited some countries in Europe last year, but spending a vacation with your family and friends is always the best. Indeed, I agree in the saying, "there is no place like home".

One of the islands  in the Philippines I visited  with my siblings was Boracay. I believed this beautiful island is not new to you anymore. In fact  during our visit there, you can see a lot of tourists from all over the globe.

Remember this island is also a party  island but of course, you can find some quite areas  to relax and rejuvenate. During our visit,  and it was summer in the Philippines that time, there was a huge summer party in the island. We decided to go there and it was really very crowded that  we had the difficulty to move around. I was hoping to see someone who uses  Levy's gadget but there is nobody there who played mandolin.  If you don't have any idea what mandolin is, is a musical instrument in the lute family and is usually plucked with a plectrum or 'pick'.

There are so many things to do and to experience in Boracay, from entertainment to tasting local foods, water sports, outdoors, souvenir shopping and of course, the beach is the best part of the island.

I am actually a frugal traveller.  I always find the cheapest travels that  fits my budget, or else I won't be able to travel to over 30 countries now. Sometimes, I am  lucky to find cheap travel packages  with great inclusions in it from  accommodation to sightseeing tours, transportation and food.  Since  siblings will be sponsoring most of my trips in the Philippines this time, I cannot really convince them to find affordable travel offers especially on accommodation. It is their decision and I am not really happy with it because it seems that they are only trying to waste money. I just hope that they will realize  the value of money instead of just  like throwing it outside the window.  We will see what will be the next episode  of this suppose  to be  travel in Boracay.

Watching The Sunset in Sarimrakli, Turkey

It was a nice afternoon as arrived in our hotel in Sarimsakli, Turkey. The weather was friendly with a temperature of around 27 degrees Celsius. We stayed in Berk hotel and resorts which is some meters away from the beach. We took the chance to go a bit walking on the beach while watching the beauty of the sunset. It was so far a wonderful afternoon.

Sarimsakli is a town in the Ayvalik District of Balikesir Province in Western Turkey, Turkey. The town's name means "land of garlic" in reference to the region's considerable production of the Alliaceae plant.

Staying in A Hotel in Kumburgaz, Istanbul

This is a nice place where we stayed in Kumburgaz. It is a wonderful place on the Marmara sea, about 60 km far from the centre of Istanbul. Our 5-star hotel have some bars inside and outside of the premises. Of course, you can see there used bar equipment. I love this place especially that it is located on the seaside. You can see the floating bar of the Artemis Princess Hotel in my image there. I remembered walking at the beach during our stay in this hotel.

Overall, I would say that it was a memorable and exciting trip we had in Turkey.

The Beautiful Nice in French Riviera

Nice is truly a very nice place! Nice is the capital of the Côte d'Azur, known in English as French Riviera. It extends along the Bay of Angels. No wonder this city is so beautiful that millions of tourists visit it every year.

Nice is one of the most renowned cities in France. When you think about Nice, you would also mean thinking about it famous spot, the Promenade des Anglais or Promenade of the English. I am very happy walking on this famous promenade which runs along the sea-side.

This is the view that I always see in the morning. Isn't it nice? I am always reminded of my home when I see this scenery especially the view of the sea. We stayed here for 6 days last April 2011 during our trip to the Italian Riviera, French Riviera and Monaco.

Pietra Ligure is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about 60 km southwest of Genoa and about 20 km southwest of Savona.

The Beautiful Beaches in Nice, France

The charm and beauty of this place is still very fresh and always playing in my mind. Nice, a city in France is truly nice and beautiful. I love especially its white sandy beach, its historical settings and simply the place. I never regret my trip to this part of France. It was truly a memorable and stunning vacation!

Just simply look at the images I took below and you will see how beautiful this place is. No wonder it is nicknamed as Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful.

Remembering Panglao Island Trip

I guess this is a special post for tonight. I just remember that it is almost a year now since I had my last vacation in my home country. One of the places we visited was Panglao Island in the Philippines. I love the cabin furniture in Panglao Beach Resort and yes, the beaches here are also amazing. The water is crystal clear and the sands are so fine. It is one of the beautiful beaches I had visited in the Philippines.

It was already my second visit here and if given the chance in the future, I will still come back here. Here is one of the native but lovely kiosks in this beach resort. I simply love this place.!

I'm Going for a Vacation To The Beach

I am so busy this week trying to pack-up things for my long vacation to the beach. Oh yes, I will be enjoying the beach, blue sky and sunny weather very soon. I am done packing my baggage but I have to unpack it again because it exceeded the required weight limit for check-in luggage. I decided to pack the excess baggage in a balikbayan box. I hope I can finish it before the end of the week. Anyway, have you heard about Myrtle Beach Golf? I Miss The Beach

This is a special post today because I will be featuring some photos from home. I miss the water and the beaches back home. I guess our house is just around 10 meters away from the beach. The photo above was just taken a week ago and was sent by my sister through email. I am very happy that I will be home again next month. Imagine it has been three long years that I have not seen my family, relatives and friends. Finally I will be seeing them again in more than a month. I am also planning to visit Myrtle Beach Resort in the future.

I visited a blog this week and the blogger who happened to live in this place was featuring Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resort. She features interesting photos of the different beaches here especially Myrtle Beach Resorts. Her description of the place and the beautiful photos she shared attracted me to come to this place. When finances are available next time, me and dear HB might spent some vacation there. I guess I will be visiting US next year to attend my sister's wedding.
