My Euro Travel in Freystadt in Upper Palatinate, Germany

I already started writing this post last night but was not able to finish it. I was just so tired and sleepy already. Here is a quick information about Freystadt. It is a town located in the district of Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. It is well-known for its beautiful Pilgrimage Church named Our Lady of Perpetual Help or simply called Wallfarhtskirche Mariahilf in German. You can visit my Explore Germany site for some pictures of this church. The picture I have below is the Altstadt or Old City of Freystadt. You can see the Rathaus or Town Hall, a gray colored building on the left side, the Church's tower and some shops in this topwn. That was a perfect weather yesterday as we made a sightseeing here.

The Castle Ruins in Kallmünz, Bavaria

I guess this is the continuation of my precious post. I decided to share more pictures from Kallmünz. You can see Schlossberg towers in my first picture here. It is said that it is about 110 meters over the municipality of Kallmuenz. These pictures were taken by my new Nokia cellphone with camera using micro sd card. This is the first time that I use my cf camera here. I guess the pictures are not so bad. The second picture was taken as we were on our way to the castle. We always stopped in between the trail to take pictures of the surroundings. Here you can see the tower of the St. Michael Church which I believed to be the tallest building in this place. You can also see the red building which is the Municipal Hall and the Naab River from afar can also be seen. More pictures to come next time. pictures taken during our visit last May 9, 2010.

My Euro Travel in Kallmuenz, Bavaria, Germany

It is time to travel again! This time we are visiting Germany. I am just sharing these two pictures I took during our visit in Kallmuenz, written in German word as Kallmünz. I have some things to share about this place. Kallmünz is a municipality in the district of Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany. Situated at the Naab River about 25 km north of Regensburg Kallmünz has conserved a beautiful medieval center. More pictures and information on Kallmünz in my Explore Germany site. Anyway, we visited this place again last Sunday.
the roofless house in Kallmuenz. It is said that this place is a cave before and was built as a roofless house. Of course nobody live in this house. Some tourist find this very interesting and they always stop and look on this building.
That red building is the municipal hall of Kallmuenz. The small yellow building in front is a memorial from the second World War. You can see names of the soldiers that are engraved in this building.

Happily Blogging for my Europe Travel

I have been happily blogging for some years now. It was first a hobby and now turn into passion. This blog is mostly about my Europe travel where I share the experiences I had during my journey. As you can see this blog still don't have its own domain name. It is still hosted in a free platform. I have been planning for some months now whether to give it its own domain. That is also the reason why I am slowly trying to find a web hosting site that has everything to offer for this site. That is also the reason why I stumbled on Web Hosting Choice which shares about justhost review. WHC rated Just Host number one in their review because of the services they offer. I have not tried this web hosting site yet. Based on the overview given by Web Hosting Choice, I am quite convinced that Just Host is a reliable web hosting site. I can tell you exactly about this site if I already experience their services.

Lastly, the picture you see here was taken in Wuerzburg, written in German as Würzburg. This is the Marienkapelle or St. Mary's Chapel, a Gothic Church. The construction of this church started in 1377 and was finished in 1480 with the erection of a church tower. More Europe experience to come later. Try to find me in the picture above by clicking the photo to enlarge.
